Explore Culture Days in Oakville

Celebrate Arts and Culture at the annual Culture Days in Oakville: September 29th - October 1st!

At Culture Days, children and adults can celebrate their love of cultural arts through hands-on, interactive activities. Artists, dancers, architects, creators, and more offer something for everyone.

By providing free workshops, presentations, and performances, Culture Days can promote the love of the arts, create a community bond, and generate support for the artistic and cultural life throughout the town of Oakville.

If you are interested in attending this fun and exciting event, Rockliffe Residences has all the information you need to enjoy your weekend at Culture Days!

This year, the event expands beyond the Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre to include Towne Square and Centennial Square in Downtown Oakville, the Waterfront Park and Gazebo in Bronte, and Westwood Park and Heritage Square in Kerr Village.

Culture Days welcomes everyone regardless of age or experience to interact and participate in the workshops and programs. This is a free, family oriented event that strives to introduce and promote arts and culture to the people of Oakville.

Some of the great activities available are:

  • Behind the Scenes with The Oakville Players: Talk to volunteers, learn what's involved with community theatre and how to get involved.
  • Fabric Dyeing and Sewing with the Oakville Sewers Forum: Watch a demonstration by members of the Oakville Sewers Forum and then do it yourself!
  • Doors Open Oakville at the Oakville Greenhouse: Pot your own plant in this hands-on activity at the Oakville Greenhouse.
  • Martial Arts Sessions: Join the Oakville Taekwondo Academy for a mini session designed for children ages 4 to 14.

See more activities when you visit the Culture Days website.

If you want to participate, please arrive 10 minutes prior to activity time and remember some activities may require pre-registration. You can register for courses, programs, and workshops until September 28th at midnight. Walk-ins will be accepted day of, if there is space available.

Enjoy a behind the scenes look at your community culture, see amazing performances, and learn something new at Culture Days this fall. And remember, this event is completely free including parking!
