Oakville Festivals for Summer 2016
It's prime time for festival fun!
Rockliffe Residences has put together a list of our 'must-do' events that you can enjoy with family or friends, right here in Oakville.
July 15 from 10am to 2pm
Coleman Canada urges everyone to get outside on July 15th. Celebrate being Canadian and share in the joy of being out in nature with everyone at Bronte Creek Provincial Park. There will be activities, games, and so much more. For more details, click here.
July 15 from 6pm to midnight
This is a retail event you won't want to miss! Expanding across 6 blocks of Downtown Oakville, retailers will be offering amazing deals while Scotiabank presents delicious food and free family entertainment!
August 1 from 1pm to 4pm
Canadian history is celebrated at the Oakville Museum at Erchless Estate. This free family afternoon includes music, dance, games, and crafts. Picnic lunches are encouraged, families can set up blankets lakeside to enjoy the cool breeze off the water. For more details click here.
August 1 from 10am to 5pm
The 51st annual Art in the Park show will kick off at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park at 10am on August 1st. All mediums will be displayed including paintings, glass art, ceramics, photography, and so much more. With over 180 artists, licensed food and beer, and a chance to meet with the artists, there is something for everyone. For more details, click here.
August 5 and August 6
This completely free event presents amazing bands from all branches of Jazz. There are several stages set up throughout Downtown Oakville, so bring the family or a friend and sit out on the patio at your favourite bistro or restaurant and tap your feet to the beat. Click here for more information.
August 26 from 9pm to 11:30pm
End your summer with a fun free event at Forster Park and donate food or raise money for the Oakville Fare Share Food Bank. This year they are showing the live action Disney film The Jungle Book featuring the voices of Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson. See their Facebook page for more details.
