Oakville has some stellar events lined up!


The Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts Holiday Performances

December 13 – 31st

Head to The Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts this December for a variety of great holiday performances. A John McDermott Family Christmas is an evening of holiday music perfect for the whole family. A Christmas Carol takes the stage on December 15th at 8pm. Join Scrooge's journey in A Christmas Carol presented by the Orillia Opera House. Visit their website for additional performances and ticket information.

 

Christmas Cheer and Santa in the Square

December 2 – 16th

Enjoy your holiday shopping this year when you shop downtown Oakville this December. Christmas Carolers will be singing holiday tunes each weekend and when you visit Towne Square, you can visit Santa and get a free photo with him! Enjoy holiday treats and even horse drawn carriage rides along Lakeshore Road.

 

Instant Choir

December 20th

Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre will host an Instant Choir where participants can sing holiday tunes. This is perfect for those who really want to sing in a choir but don't have the time to commit to rehearsals. Join in or come to enjoy the music!

 

Victorian Christmas at Bronte Creek

December 27th – January 7th, 2018

Enjoy a truly Victorian Christmas at Bronte Creek. Tour the elegantly decorated Spruce Lane Farmhouse and experience some traditional Victorian Christmas games, activities, and listen to seasonal stories. Learn what a Victorian Christmas was like and make your own seasonal souvenirs.

 

Craft and Tour at the Oakville Museum

December 27 - 28th

Children 4 to 9 will love visiting the Oakville Museum in December! Enjoy a guided tour and then make a holiday craft. Be sure to register for your afternoon tour and craft time.

 

New Year's Eve at Bronte Creek

December 31st

Bronte Creek is the place to be this New Year's Eve! Enjoy a fun filled day at the park with these great activities: playing in the Playbarn, guided Coyote Howl Hikes starting at 7pm, a bonfire for roasting marshmallows, and a children's New Year's Eve countdown at 8:30pm.
